Rehoboth Home is a Vision with a Christian ethos which aims to “Raise and Skill Disabled Orphans to be equipped to function Successfully and Independently” throughout their lives. Its initial home is currently being established in Ghana, however future projects and homes will be established within other West African States.
Rehoboth Home and its services is a Christian-based non-profit organization that’s financially supported by the visionary and contributions from friends and partners of the Vision.
We believe we are called to raise disabled orphans and to show them the Love of God which establishes them in life, regardless of their perceived physical and or / mental disabilities.
The Rehoboth Team is currently in the process of building a Residential and Education Home with essential associated services required to fund the future costs for orphans with physical disabilities in Kasoa – Rock city, a suburb located in the Central Region of Ghana.
Rehoboth Homes visionary leader is currently supported by 2 core team members who ensure that all the necessary Administrative tasks required are attended to and to ensure the Safeguarding of Our Children is Paramount.
Our aim is to raise our children from birth to live abundant lives and have Spiritual fulfilment through Christ.
We will take a holistic approach to the care of all our children who may or may not become residents. We aim to give them specialist education on site and ensure their health and social care needs are also met.
Our Children will be equipped to have the skills and confidence to do all things and to exhibit that they are truly fearfully and wonderfully made in Christ, they were known before they were formed in their mother’s womb and that the thoughts and plans of God for their live are simply great and will bring them to an expected end. Therefore, regardless of their backgrounds they have cause to praise God (Psalm 134: 13-14, Jeremiah 1:5, Jeremiah 29:11).
Through Outreach and Media we will continue to share the gospel, extend Gods love and teach communities that every disabled child matters and that the application of biblical truth to every aspect of their lives will enable them to withstand all storms(Matthew 28:18-20).
With the prayers and support of our friends and partners around the world, we will challenge wrong perceptions and ideologies towards disability by presenting relevant messages of Christ and His love for all mankind. We will use the most appropriate forms of media and communications available, as well as the development and distribution of practical teaching resources.
We will bring hope, comfort and provide resources to hurting disabled Christians and non-Christians. We will achieve this through biblical counselling and teach them how to apply biblical principles in all they do.
Our goal is to raise and skill disabled orphans in our home and the local communities to function independently through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We aim to become a Centre of Excellence for disabled orphans/children within West Africa enabling them to live purposefully within their individual visions without boundaries.
The Rehoboth vision is built on a foundation of Christian faith, integrity and dedicated supporters who share this vision.
We hope you will be inspired to partner with us and donate funds to establish this great need in Ghana and its neighbouring West African States.
Remain Blessed Rehoboth Team
